Contract packaging and marking of medical devices with the UDI code
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745 of the European Parliament and of the Council on medical devices (MDR), manufacturers and distributors of medical devices are required to include a Unique Device Identification (UDI) on their labels.
Prespack supports clients in the proper labeling of medical devices—including mandatory statements indicating that a product is a medical device or the necessity of using harmonized symbols—depending on the device’s classification. We also ensure that the UDI carrier is placed on the product label.
UDI labeling contributes to enhanced patient safety and improved supply chain efficiency within the healthcare sector.
